Molly has been creating tasty meals, desserts and hor d’oeuvres from scratch using fresh and wholesome ingredients since 2004. She has catered events large and small in rented venues and in family dining rooms.

We are a unique catering company in that we will make and serve anything and everything you wish for, homemade from recipes.

General Information

Hot food is delivered and set up in chafing dishes, other food served in bowls or baskets or on trays, unless otherwise noted.

Lunch and Dinner Packages are priced the same. Select package and then choose Entree and Sides from the ala carte pages.
MOST entrees are priced. Exceptions with premium pricing include (but may not be limited to – check with us when ordering): Fish and Seafood, Prime Rib, Beef Wellington, Pork Wellington, Baby Back Ribs and Crown Pork Roast and are indicated as premium.

Minimums apply

Each catering order: minimum food order $500 per delivery (smaller and a la carte orders must be picked up).
Minimum number of people for one meal menu: 12. If your guest list or food order fall below minimum, we reserve the right to charge based on the minimum in place. Please discuss any deviation from minimums when placing your order.
36 hour minimum notice. Last minute changes, substitutions or cancellations may result in additional charges.

Dietary Restrictions

Many menu selections naturally accommodate dietary restrictions. Many menus may be ordered Vegetarian, Vegan or Gluten Free. Many menus may serve these dietary restrictions by omitting choices from the diner’s individual plate. We can help you select appropriate choices or design specific menus that accommodate dietary restrictions. Please ask!

- Provide scheduling information (delivery times, meal times & pick up times),
- delivery location (and any special instructions regarding delivery),
- information about the venue (types and quantity of tables, accessibility, contact info)

- do not consider an order confirmed without a confirmation from us!

Pricing: Food

Prices listed are per person (unless otherwise noted).

Bronze, Silver, Gold & Platinum Hot Plates:

Lunch and Dinner Packages are priced the same. Select package and then choose entree and sides from those menu pages.
MOST entrées are priced the same. Exceptions with premium pricing include (but may be not limited to – check with us when ordering: Fish and Seafood, prime rib, Beef Wellington, Pork Wellington, Baby Back Ribs and Crown pork roast – and are indicated as premium on the menu page.
Allowing guests a choice is easy: simply order more than one menu. There is no extra charge as long as there is a minimum order of 12 per similarly built meal menu and a limit of 3 menus per event. (Example: 3 Bronze Hot Plates in one meal: one meal has a chicken menu – for 24 people, one has a beef menu – for 46 people, and one has a vegetarian menu – for 13 people.)

Pricing: A la Carte

A la carte items may be added to any catered meal.
When ordered separately, must add up to the minimum $500 for delivery, or may be picked up at our Little Canada location.
A la carte items may be ordered in smaller quantities must be picked up.
Any order to be picked up must be scheduled for our regular business hours.
Please allow for a 24-hour turn around.

Pricing: Rentals

Paper products (paper plates & napkins, cups, plastic silverware) will be provided for any catering order with no extra charge – upon request only. When paper won’t do, we can provide a full range of place setting pieces and many linen colors. Choose the “Everything” Package for our best value: all linens (table coverings & napkins), china, flatware, glassware, salt & pepper shakers, water pitchers needed to complete table settings for all food and beverage ordered from Creative Catering at $5 per person. (Does not include staffing, see below). Please call for pricing on individual pieces.

Pricing: Tax & Delivery

Prices do not include tax or delivery; both are based on location of delivery.
Delivery, set up & pick up includes set up in space you have prepared for serving.
Used serving dishes and serving pieces will be picked up following your event. Every attempt is made to accomplish this in a timely manner, but some situations require that the items be picked up the following day.

Pricing: Staffing

Servers are available for sit-down dinner service or for extra help during buffets

optional for many catered meals
required for plated meals, for room set up & clean up and is in addition to the pricing level choices
some venues require servers for set up, service and clean up. If in doubt, check with your venue
serving staff charged at $20/hour plus 15% gratuity with a 4-hour minimum per server
on-site chef (required for some menu options – see menu) charged at $25/hour plus 15% gratuity with a 3-hour minimum charge

Sales & Use Tax

Creative Catering must charge Sales & Use Tax based on the state, county and municipality where the food is deivered. Please account for tax as it is not included in our published prices.

Delivery & Set-up

Fees for delivery, set-up and pick-up (minimum $35) is charged on every order. This fee varies per order. Please discuss with our staff when arranging your catering.

Minimum Orders

Minimum number of people for one dinner menu is 12. Minimum total food order is $500. If you r guest list or food order falls below these minimums, your order will still be charged based on the minimums in place.

Last minute changes

In most cases, final counts and menus are due 5 days prior to the event. Last minute changes, substitutions or cancellations may result in additional charges.

Price Increases

Over the years, our menu prices have been impossibly stable, and every attempt is made to keep it that way. It is inevitable that some prices will go up, and so we must warn that prices are subject to change without notice.

Gratuity

Whenever personnel (servers or chef service) is involved, 15% gratuity is automatically added to your total invoice.

Liquor License

Creative Catering does not have a liquor license. If your venue does not provide liquor service, Creative Catering can recommend a licensed provider but cannot provide alcohol.

Usage Fees

Certain venues have a mandatory usage fee, usually a percentage of the total catering order, which the caterer is required to pay directly to the venue. These charges are not built into our prices, and must be added to your invoice when applicable. Creative Catering does not have any control over that fee nor does it up charge that fee to you. If the venue you have does not have a usage fee policy, you will not see a service charge on your invoice.
